Game top-ups — frequently asked questions

What is a top-up?

A top-up is in-game currency loaded onto the account you already play on — Riot Points, VALORANT Points, V-Bucks, Genshin Genesis Crystals and the rest. Nothing changes hands but the balance: you keep your account, your skins and your progress.

What do you need from me to top up my account?

Usually just your in-game ID or username and the server you play on. Some games are topped up through a code you redeem yourself, in which case nothing but your email is needed — the listing says which before you pay.

Do I have to give you my password?

No. A top-up is delivered to your player ID or as a redeemable code, so a legitimate top-up never needs your login. Treat anyone asking for a password on a top-up order as a red flag and report it from your order dashboard.

How long does a top-up take to arrive?

In-stock listings are usually credited within minutes of payment. Listings that are not in stock depend on the seller confirming availability first — the in-stock filter on the directory shows only the ones that deliver immediately.

Why is my currency cheaper here than in the game store?

Sellers buy in regions and bundles where the same currency costs less, then pass part of the difference on. The amount that lands on your account is identical to buying it in the client.

Which server or region should I choose?

The one your account actually plays on. Currency is credited per region, so a top-up bought for the wrong server cannot be moved afterwards — check the region filter before you buy.

What if I enter the wrong player ID?

Contact support from your order dashboard immediately. If the top-up has not been delivered yet it can be corrected; once currency is credited to another account it cannot be pulled back, so double-check the ID before paying.

Is my payment protected?

Yes — payment is held in escrow from checkout and only released to the seller once the currency shows up on your account, or automatically after the dispute window closes if nothing is reported.

What happens if the currency never arrives?

Open a dispute from the order. Support checks the delivery with the seller and either gets the top-up completed or refunds the order in full.

Can I get banned for topping up through a third party?

Publishers' terms differ on third-party currency purchases, so there is some risk, and it is not one we can remove. What we do control is how it is delivered: to your player ID or as a redeemable code, never by logging into your account.

What payment methods do you accept?

Standard card and wallet methods at checkout. Everything is priced in EUR with a display-currency switcher, so you can shop in your own currency and the price you see is the price you pay.

Can I top up someone else's account as a gift?

Yes — enter their in-game ID instead of your own, or buy a code listing and send them the code from your order dashboard.
